We're Giving Thanks by Giving Back!
Service Austin Days, held every year on the weekend before Thanksgiving, provides the people of Austin with an opportunity to serve the city that has given so much to all of us.
This year's event is on November 18, 19 & 20* and includes projects that address a variety of community needs such as maintaining our beautiful parks, supporting the work of our schools, and caring for the less fortunate.
Volunteers receive free t-shirts and breakfast delivered to their project site. Participating organizations receive recognition for contributions to projects.
How to get involved
Volunteer - Check out the Projects page to find the opportunity that is right for you.
Ask Someone to Join You - Sign up with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, or your church group and enjoy serving together.
Suggest a Project - We're adding new projects every day! If you have an idea for a service project, please visit the How To Design Projects page to connect with someone who can explore the possibilities with you.
Spread the Word - Include a brief announcement in your company newsletter, church bulletin, or neighborhood newspaper. Share with groups who desire to give back or organizations that might be in need of service.
Be a part of Service Austin Days 2011 and join in on what is becoming an annual Austin tradition!
